Civil engineering is an engineering field that deals with the study of designing, construction & maintenance of naturally or physically built environments, such as canals, buildings, dams, bridges, roads, and so on. Civil engineering is considered as the oldest engineering fields after military engineering. Civil engineering is defined to distinguish the difference between military engineering and non-military engineering.
